You’ll work alongside colleagues in the Technical Development team, to gather, interpret and document customer business requirements, helping to analyse these requirements and document and propose solutions to meet them, including detailed technical specifications that will drive the design, development and test phases of projects that deliver the solutions.
You’ll also work closely with colleagues and customers to develop and test application functionality, deliver customer training and undertake user testing, helping to identify changes in scope and manage these through change control processes. So you’ll get to see projects from conception through to completion, giving you a necessary insight to enable you to continuously improve and develop.
You’ll need a broad understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, databases and software development to ensure you can support the team in both scoping and facilitating projects.
In terms of personal qualities, you’ll have an analytic mind-set with the ability to gather and interpret complex information, outstanding problem solving capabilities and strong communication skills due to client facing aspect of the role, helping build and maintain positive relationships with client stakeholders.
