Marketing Content Creator

Due to a strong focus on inbound marketing and the need for good quality content to support this strategy we are recruiting for an experienced content creator. We are looking for someone who is fantastic with words and has experience of writing for multiple platforms and channels.

As a creative person you will be working with our employees, customers and partners to create and write items such as case studies, email campaigns, blog and website pages, press releases, whitepapers and eBooks. You will need to be driven and enthusiastic about seeking out the information needed and confident to speak with people at every level across the business and our customer base.

You will manage the content from brief to completion, working with the rest of the marketing team on impactful layout and planning and executing the delivering across multiple channels, including social platforms. Organisation will be key to ensuring content quotas are met and approval is obtained from the relevant people in a timely fashion. Content will need to be delivered in line with keyword SEO strategies and to maximise engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content in line with the annual marketing plan to support our inbound marketing strategy and lead generation
     
  • Distribute the content created through multiple channels including the website, blog and social platforms
     
  • Conduct professional and time-effective interviews with customers, partners and employees to gain insight into the topics to be covered, harness opinions and collate their understanding of topics into relevant articles, case studies and campaigns
     
  • Research topics, read relevant publications and blogs and stay up to date with industry and business news
     
  • Carry out keyword research and implement strategies into content to improve SEO
     
  • Interpret briefs and contribute to content planning process
     
  • Work closely with our design and campaign specialists to ensure delivery of content is effective
     
  • Manage our social media channels and website copy
     
  • Proof read and manage the copy quality of marketing assets.

The candidate

Experience

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject
     
  • Creative content writing experience
     
  • Experience of creating content for multi-channel
    campaigns to support an inbound marketing strategy
     
  • Experience of creating case studies through conducting telephone interviews
     
  • Experience of working in the IT industry is favourable but not essential
     
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
