Sage 200 Support Consultant

Datel now requires a Sage 200 Support Consultant to join the existing team with the objective of providing helpdesk support to multiple customers using Sage 200; working closely with customers, suppliers and other Datel departments to resolve software problems and queries.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to call/emails to resolve queries within area of expertise
     
  • Maintain good daily log closure rates
     
  • Plan and prioritise own workload to address incoming issues by priority level, date and time of receipt to maximise customer satisfaction
     
  • Regularly update systems
     
  • Keep customer informed of progress
     
  • Ensure appropriate formal and informal relationships and communications are developed and maintained within the department and between the department and all other internal departments, to promote proactive and effective resolution of problems
     
  • Continuously improve product knowledge
     
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

The candidate

Experience

  • Previous experience in a Sage 200 Support consultancy role or Sage 200 Applications consultancy role
     
  • Ideally accredited in Sage 200 Financials and Commercials
     
  • High degree of business, product and technical knowledge
     
  • Good SQL skills
     
  • Experience of providing 1st and 2nd line Support
