Datel’s commitment to Sage products has been recognised by Sage at its Business Partner Conference, held on 21st October at the historic Glaziers Hall, near London Bridge. During the event, Datel received two major awards: Sage 1000 Partner of the Year and Sage Enterprise Partner of the Year.
Datel directors David Preston, Alan Simpson, Jo Fulton, Andrew Pritchard and Simon Newbon accepted the awards from David Watts, Sage Vice President, UK Enterprise, on behalf of the Datel team.
Executive Chairman Alan Simpson said: “Datel has a strong track record of awards success, reflecting our achievements across the Sage Enterprise range – Sage X3, Sage 1000 and Sage CRM. Every year, we set ourselves ever more challenging targets and I am proud that our efforts have once again brought us awards success. Our approach to new customer projects is founded on the principle of listening carefully to what the business needs and recommending solutions that will solve customer’s pains and challenges for many years to come. I am confident that this approach will serve us well in further expanding the Datel business in the year ahead.”
The conference marked a key milestone in the development of enterprise software with the launch of Sage X3 Cloud to the UK market. Sage X3 Cloud offers the same core functionality as the on-premise solution but allows the application to be delivered as software-as-a-service. Organisations are freed from the overheads of installing and managing software on-site, while business users benefit from mobile access to corporate systems and data.
