Desktop Support Engineer

Are you an experienced Desktop Support Engineer looking for a new challenge in an existing busy IT service desk serving over 200 users across multiple sites?

What you'll do

On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for providing support for any desktop/laptop/printer/phone issues, monitoring and administering a support based ticket system, contacting staff to resolve issues supporting Windows O/S systems including common applications support and data network and server management.

You may also be required to train end users on usage of computer hardware and software.

What to bring

We’re looking for a personable problem solver, who, along with a genuine curiosity to improve their technical knowledge and research new product capabilities has prior experience in Desktop support handling issues in Windows OS and basic knowledge in networking, system administration and information security.

You must have excellent communication skills, be able to deliver to deadlines and be prepared to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations and be able to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment.
