Graduate Project Manager
What you'll do
Project Management at Datel is about taking real responsibility and being accountable for ensuring that we deliver on our customer commitments at the right time, at the right cost, and of the right quality. It’s a fundamental area of our business that is responsible for coordinating the delivery of services. This includes product and support provisioning into all our new and existing customers through effective project methodologies, as well as acting as the conduit between our sales, operational delivery teams, and the client.
You’ll start off working with our Project Administrators and Project Co-ordinators, to introduce you to the fundamentals of project management at Datel and our internal processes.
Along the way, you will gain an understanding of project management lifecycles, processes, and methodologies, and be encouraged to study for certification by the Association of Project Management (APM). This will stretch both your business and technical aptitude to the full.
As a member of the project management team, you’ll undertake a wide variety of tasks such as controlling budgets and expenditure, covering the governance of change within projects, resourcing, fulfilling contractual requirements, and interfacing with our customers. You'll also review performance, analyse risks, and take decisions to optimise project success.
What to bring
For this role, you'll need to have an analytical mind and a highly methodical approach to your work. You'll need to be a confident communicator and know how to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and have the drive and determination to see a variety of tasks through to completion.
Excellent Microsoft Office experience is required, especially in Word and Excel.
