This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual with a passion for sales and software to join our New Business Sales Team.
What you'll do
You’ll work hard to secure new sales opportunities through the effective management of complex sales cycles to a successful close, ensuring targets for sales, margin, and profit are met.
Success will be achieved by delivering a compelling, differentiated value proposition and by building and maintaining strong relationships to gain a deep understanding of prospect businesses, their priorities, and strategies so that you can work collaboratively to confidently propose solutions that support their challenges and ensures Datel adds value to their organisation.
You will work closely with the New Business Sales Manager to ensure effective and accurate forecasting and reporting of all pipeline opportunities, and with the Pre-Sales Team to ensure demos are carried out effectively to achieve sales numbers and set customer expectations.
What to bring
You‘ll possess excellent communication skills and gravitas with all stakeholders (both at prospects and within Datel), and be creative, upbeat and innovative. You will also demonstrate strong commercial acumen in terms of managing pipeline, and by understanding commercial drivers and value-based selling you will facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
You’ll have a keen interest in technology and be passionate about it being used to deliver real business impact so that you maintain a detailed knowledge of our products and services.
