Protex Support Consultant

This is a role created to further strengthen the capabilities of the Protex Support team. Protex is a Datel own brand product supporting customers in the Clothing and Footwear Sector.

We’re looking for somebody with a technical/functional background and a good understanding of underlying business processes (ideally Distribution, Manufacturing and some finance), to provide an excellent service to our growing customer base.

You will have a background in providing ERP Support to enterprise level customers in a sometimes complex environment. Training into other areas of the application will be provided.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide effective and efficient support to multiple Protex customers

  • Respond to calls / emails to resolve queries within area of expertise.

  • Keep customers informed of progress

  • Maintain good daily log closure rates

  • Continuously improve product knowledge

  • Ensure appropriate formal and informal relationships and communications are developed and maintained within the department and between all other internal departments, to promote proactive and effective resolution of problems

 

The Candidate

Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge of Sage 200 or other ERP solution

  • Experience of the Clothing Industry would be an advantage

  • High degree of business, product and technical knowledge

  • Good SQL skills

  • Sage 200 Financials

  • Sage 50 Financials

  • Spindle Document Distribution

  • Experience working with other similar ERP products.

Additional Information:

  • Normal Office hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday with an hour’s unpaid lunch break each day. This equates to 37.5 hours per week.

  • Full UK driving licence preferred (our Warrington office is not easily accessible via public transport).
