What you'll do
Working to Datel’s values and principles, you’ll manage a portfolio of existing Sage 200 accounts, across a variety of verticals, building and maintaining strong relationships to gain a deep understanding of client businesses, their priorities and strategies, so that you can work collaboratively to confidently propose solutions that support their challenges and ensures Datel adds value across their broader organisation. You will work alongside multiple teams at Datel with full involvement with our sales teams but also working closely with Marketing, Consultancy, Support and R&D.
Initially working remotely, you’ll ensure a regular call frequency to your accounts on the telephone or via Teams to have meaningful and useful contact. Without non-productive travel time, you’ll reach more customers, but when the time is right and to meet customer demand you’ll be equally as comfortable meeting face to face.
What to bring
You‘ll possess excellent communication skills, verbally, visually and written and gravitas with all stakeholders, be creative, upbeat and innovative and with strong commercial acumen in terms of managing pipeline and understanding commercial drivers and value based selling you’ll facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships, spotting opportunities and defending against competitor activity.
You’ll have a keen interest in technology and be passionate about it being used to deliver real business value so that you maintain a detailed knowledge of our products and services and will go the extra mile to understand the needs of each and every customer in your portfolio to offer a tailored account manager service adding real value to their business.
