Sage Enterprise Management Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced Consultant to join our growing Enterprise Management team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scoping exercises to analyse and specify customer requirements, recording what has been discussed, agreed and rejected to define the optimum use of Sage Enterprise Management and advise clients on how best to use their system.
  • Provide training to end users
  • Resolve technical queries within the areas of expertise
  • Maintain effective working relationships with relevant people within Datel, (especially Project Managers) ensuring effective flow of information and documentation to maximise project potential.
  • Proactively highlight project issues to the project manager and where necessary escalate to the Enterprise Management Consultants Manager.
  • Proactively look to improve our service to customers by being sensitive to their business needs.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge, researching new and complementary products and suggesting changes to the Datel product portfolio
  • Maintain an appropriate awareness of and work effectively within the policies and procedures of Datel.
  • Use relevant systems and ensure up to date information is centrally held. 

The Candidate

Experience:

  • A Business or IT degree/qualification or demonstrate strong business expertise
  • 2 years or more in a business consultancy capacity
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Sage Enterprise Management.
  • Enterprise Management (X3) accreditations desirable

  • Good Customer Service skills - able to think strategically from the client’s perspective to deploy effective solutions and capable of developing trusted relationships with staff of all levels in customer departments

  • The ability and willingness to learn new technologies and to share ideas
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritise tasks and manage own time effectively
  • Takes ownership and responsibility
  • Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to grasp new technologies quickly

    Additional information
  • Normal Office hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday with an hour’s unpaid lunch break each day. This equates to 37.5 hours per week.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred (our Warrington office is not easily accessible via public transport). As clients are at various locations throughout the UK, this may necessitate periods staying away from home during the working week.
