What you'll do
Our professional and talented Sage X3 Consultancy team have a strong work ethic and are dedicated to providing top-quality service to our customers that truly expands the world of Sage.
You’ll be involved in all financial consultancy aspects through the entire project cycle, using skills from scoping through requirements definition, customisation, workshops, implementation, training, and post-installation support. You will use all customer interactions as an opportunity to develop and build relationships, ensuring effective implementation and proactively looking to improve our service to customers by being sensitive to their business needs. To achieve this, you’ll demonstrate adaptability, tact, commitment, resourcefulness, and proactively communicate with all stakeholders.
You will also strive to maintain effective working relationships with relevant people within Datel (especially Project Managers), to ensure effective flow of information in order to maximise project potential, highlight project issues and successes, and escalate where necessary.
What to bring
We’re looking for someone with the right blend of attitude, energy, and financial know-how to join our Sage X3 Consultancy team.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have demonstrable accounting software experience in application support, systems analyst or super user capacity. Certification in Sage X3 would be advantageous, but we will also consider systems such as Coda, OpenAccounts, SunAccounts, Dynamics NAV/AX, SAP Business One, NetSuite, etc.
SQL and/or SQL Server experience and report writing skills would be useful and are desirable.
As a highly skilled communicator, you’ll be comfortable meeting with an FD to discuss their accounts set up, playing a fundamental role in helping our varied customer base get the most from their Sage X3 implementation.
You’ll work in a busy environment that requires consistency, flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure. With a keen interest in technology and customer satisfaction, you’ll enjoy working with other Sage X3 experts in a friendly environment, which values commitment to quality, customer service, and delivery.
Our consultants work on-site with customers across the UK, so the ability and willingness to travel to customer sites, often with overnight stays, are mandatory. Overseas travel is also sometimes required for work and training.
