Support Technical Engineer

Due to increasing customer demand for our Manage and Monitor services, we’re looking for an additional Technical Engineer to join our Customer Support Services team.  

What you'll do

You’ll be involved in creating new VM’s, correcting and testing connections, updating our system details, and housekeeping of our five support servers, which currently hold over 200 test environments, 80 VPN VM’s and a number of production servers.

You’ll also be responsible for carrying out a number of daily checks for our customers, specifically looking at disk space. You will analyse and correct any errors reported.  

Working alongside one of our senior consultants, you’ll also set up SQL maintenance plans and annual health checks.

What to bring

You’ll have prior experience in handling issues in Windows OS, knowledge of SQL Server and writing SQL statements, as well as be a personable problem-solver with a genuine curiosity to improve your technical knowledge and gain new skills. If you have previous programming experience in Java, then great, but don’t worry if you haven’t – a desire to learn is equally as important.

You’ll have excellent communication skills, be able to deliver to deadlines and multitask effectively, and be prepared to go the extra mile to exceed expectations.
