Inspiring Business Awards 2017: the winners!

Datel is very pleased to announce the winners of the four categories within Connect 2017’s Inspiring Business Awards, recognising the breadth of success within our customer community.
As the Connect 2017 conference and exhibition drew to a close on Thursday 22nd June, it was onto the next order of business: the Inspiring Business Awards.
The Awards were in-keeping with the ‘inspiring’ theme of Connect 2017, celebrating the inspirational success stories within our diverse customer base across the following categories:

A fantastic time was enjoyed by all at the packed Inspiring Business Awards Dinner. While all of the nominees had great inspirational stories, four winners needed to be selected. This was a difficult task and we are delighted to reveal which businesses were crowned as winners on the night:
Award: Inspiring New Customer
This award recognises a Datel customer with an inspirational success story that has led them to implement their new Sage solution from Datel.
Winner: Quanta Dialysis Technologies
Overview: Quanta is a research and development organisation whose work is focused on improving the lives of dialysis patients with their ground-breaking SC+ machine. Quanta is currently using Sage 200 from Datel to enable a smooth transition into a commercial organisation, as they prepare to go to market with the SC+.
Award: Expanding the World of Sage
This award recognises businesses that may have utilised something from Datel’s Fusion range or from our carefully selected suite of third-party solutions to improve an area of their business.
Winner: SVM Global
Overview: SVM Global is the world leading reseller and distributor of corporate gift cards, e-codes and gift vouchers into the B2B and corporate gifting market. Datel’s Fusion SDK has played an integral role in streamlining and automating a number of previously time-consuming processes, helping to spur the company’s productivity, output and growth.
Award: Embracing New Technology
This award recognises a business that is at the forefront of technology and is staying ahead of the curve in some way.
Winner: Seal It Services Ltd t/a Bond It
Overview: Established in 2002, Bond It is a manufacturer of high-quality building chemicals, servicing businesses worldwide. By investing in automated machinery within their factory and warehouse, Bond It has been able to make significant cost savings, and has improved the efficiency of their manufacturing processes; supporting recent business growth and facilitating further expansion in the future.
Award: Inspiring Established Customer
This award recognises a long-standing Datel customer who has, with the help of their solution from Datel, achieved something exceptional.
Winner: Nichols plc
Overview: Nichols plc is an international soft drinks business with sales in over 85 countries, and turnover now in excess of £100 million. In 2016 Nichols plc signed off a £4 million expansion of their Ross-on-Wye production facility, doubling the size of their warehouse. In order to support this growth, Nichols plc has invested in various technologies with Datel.
