What ambition means to Connect 2 Cleanrooms

It really all does start with an idea. For me, nothing embodies that more than the story of Connect 2 Cleanrooms, a designer and manufacturer of modular cleanrooms based in Lancaster.

Joe Govier's vision was truly pioneering. He wanted to help businesses achieve their own R&D aspirations with sterile environments that could be built and deployed anywhere in the world within just a few weeks.

To make that happen, Joe founded Connect 2 Cleanrooms to bring that vision to life in 2002 - the very same year they received their first order from the University of Manchester. Amazingly, that cleanroom is still being used today.

It’s been 16 years since Joe made his vision happen. Today Joe and his team are helping international brands such as L’Oreal, Rolls Royce, BAE and Siemens to make theirs happen too. It's a fantastic example of how a small spark of an idea can go on to make a big difference.

As their Sage Business Partner since 2005, we’ve seen Connect 2 Cleanrooms’ phenomenal success first hand - which is why we spoke to Joe to find out what exactly what that means to him.

It’s an inspiration to serve ambitious businesses like Connect 2 Cleanrooms, who are helping ambitious businesses around the world to achieve their aspirations.

To find out more about what drives businesses like Joe's to do more, we’re running a competition to find Britain’s most ambitious business.

The winner will receive a promotional video showcasing that ambition, courtesy of Datel.

Share your story and what ambition means to you or may choose to nominate a business you feel demonstrates ambition in what they do and whose story deserves to be heard.

Our competition is now closed and we have announced our winner. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team.
