X3 Happening 2016
X3 Happening 2016
On 23rd November 2016, Datel brought together and welcomed our users of Sage X3 to the Chesford Grange Hotel, Warwick, for an afternoon and evening dedicated to Sage X3.
The event gave us the opportunity to provide customers with updates on the latest version of Sage X3, and talk to them about how they’re finding working with Sage X3 over dinner and drinks.
The agenda for the event included:
-
A summary of Sage X3 and its development during 2016 from Datel’s Executive Chairman, Alan Simpson
-
Highlights of the latest versions of Sage X3 from Paolo Arcangelo, Datel’s Sage X3 Services Director
-
The Sage X3 roadmap presentation from David Rawling, Product Marketing Director at Sage UK
-
A UK exclusive with Greg Brown, the originator of Sage Enterprise Intelligence and President of Tangerine Software, who presented his views on reporting from Sage X3.

Launching eXware for Sage X3
Datel’s R&D team is at the cutting-edge of Sage technology, with some of the best Sage X3 developers in the channel.
At X3 Happening, we took the opportunity to highlight this expertise and launch Datel’s suite of add-on products for Sage X3: eXware.
eXware is a collection of rich functionality designed to improve your processes and experience of Sage X3. Built by our developers, implemented by our skilled consultants and backed by our fantastic support team, the eXware product range currently includes:
-
eXware Multi-Company
eXware Multi-Company is a collection of extensions for Sage X3 multi-company environments, simplifying some of the more complicated processes. This includes purchase requisition and order improvements, such as multi-company order entry, purchase invoice authorisation workflow, multi-company VAT returns, multi-company consolidations, and rich HTML workflow emails.
-
eXware Inscribe
eXware Inscribe takes documents outputted from Sage X3 and distributes them to the email contacts defined in Sage X3. For example, eXware Inscribe will split the PDF created by the Sage X3 invoice and distribute it to customers as individual invoices. If a Sagepay account is available, eXware Inscribe will also display a “Pay It Now” option on the email, allowing the customer to pay for the invoice directly.
-
eXware Excel Connect
Enable your users to create and edit data in the familiar spreadsheets they use every day. eXware Excel Connect from Datel takes a fresh look at data entry into Sage. It makes the routine entry of accounting data, sales orders, purchases and stock quick and efficient.

Top Business Award win for Datel
At X3 Happening, Datel was also delighted to receive the SEI (Sage Enterprise Intelligence) Top European Partner Award from Tangerine Software’s President, Greg Brown. The award recognises Datel’s consistent standing as a thought-leader in the Sage channel.
